export_to(string filename, string type) ⇒ boolean
Exports the audio stream to the specified filename and format using FFmpeg.
The supported output types are mp3, wav, flac, ogg, opus, aac, m4a, aiff, au, webm and wma. Common aliases such as wave, vorbis, aif and snd are also accepted.
The filename is used exactly as supplied; the type argument selects the container and codec. Existing destination files are replaced. The source file itself cannot be used as the destination.
FFmpeg must be installed and available on PATH. Alternatively, its executable may be selected using the FFMPEG environment variable.
$audio = new AudioStream("speech.wav") $success = $audio->export_to("speech.mp3", "mp3")
