Module description

Provides Windows-specific system functions, including registry access, PowerShell execution, drive and process information, and desktop controls.

Availability: ZPE 1.14.6 is the first version to support the Windows module.

Module functions

The following is a list of all functions available in this module.

• close_cd_tray [1.14.6+]

  Attempts to close the first available CD/DVD tray.

• drive_letters [1.14.6+]

  Gets all available drive letters.

• get_appdata [1.14.6+]

  Gets the roaming AppData directory.

• get_battery_status [1.14.6+]

  Gets battery information from Windows.

• get_computer_name [1.14.6+]

  Gets the Windows computer name.

• get_process_list [1.14.6+]

  Gets a list of running processes.

• get_username [1.14.6+]

  Gets the current Windows username.

• get_wallpaper [1.14.6+]

  Gets the current desktop wallpaper path.

• is_admin [1.14.6+]

  Returns <code class="keyword">true</code> if ZPE is running as administrator.

  Opens the first available CD/DVD tray.

• registry_delete [1.14.6+]

  Deletes a Windows Registry value.

• registry_exists [1.14.6+]

  Checks whether a Windows Registry value exists.

• registry_get [1.14.6+]

  Gets a value from the Windows Registry.

• registry_set [1.14.6+]

  Sets a Windows Registry value.

• run_powershell [1.14.6+]

  Runs a PowerShell command and returns its output.

• set_wallpaper [1.14.6+]

  Sets the desktop wallpaper.

• show_file_in_explorer [1.14.6+]

  Shows a file in Windows Explorer.
