My blog all about BalfBlog, which was formerly the BalfBlog blog has been renamed my Project blog. This blog will no longer focus solely on BalfBlog, but it will now discuss all of my projects.

On that subject, whilst ZPE is one of my main projects, it will not really be discussed too much on this blog since there is a dedicated blog on the zenlang.net website. I think it would be wise for me to keep submitting there rather than at both places.

I have decided to deploy a blog for BalfBlog updates on my website. Since I have multiple (infinite) databases on my server and plenty of storage space, I thought I may as well create a more dedicated blog. This blog cannot be subscribed to and I currently intend to keep it that way. Major updates will likely still be repeated on my own personal blog.

You can subscribe to the new RSS feed feature by just clicking the button on the front page.

For now the biggest update is the RSS which was added earlier this morning.

I will update the ClickIt and Zenlang websites with these updates.

I wish you a Merry Christmas for 2015 and hope you all have a wonderful day! Here's that same picture as last year.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas for 2014!

In just under 30 minutes, my Halloween theme for my website will be coming down and the site will return to the normal form.

I hope you have enjoyed my site in it's 2014 Halloween form. As always mid November it turns to a Christmas theme.

It also should change automatically without me needing to do anything, provided the time on the local computer is correct, as I chose to write this in JavaScript rather than on the server - giving your computer more work, not mine!

WordPress is available as an add-on to a website in HTML, CSS etc. It utilises PHP and MySQL to make it efficient and effective. WordPress is great because the theme of the blog can be changed at any time with a variety of different themes to choose from. I like the current standard WordPress theme, known as Twenty Twelve (2012) and will be using this for the time being. I may change it at anytime, though.

WordPress also has a built in spell-check as well as making the administration of my blog much easier. I am currently leaving the BlackRabbit and WE Blog blogs the way they are and they will remain as my standard blogs, provided by my host. There may come a time when I change them also.

WordPress has also offered me much more in the view that millions of people use it, so it is well maintained. As well as that, Google Searches are more likely to stumble across a WordPress blog than they are a blog created by my host.

I have also now copied every single post from my old blog into my new blog, along with their time and date strings. On top of that, Blogger has finally been moved to this blog, so all my historical writings from when I first blogged in 2010, have moved here.

After today's episode of Spooks, a series which has kept me on the edge of my seat for nearly ten great years, I am saying goodbye to it. The series which is produced for and aired by the BBC has made television great again for me, along with the similar Hustle programme which is shown early in the year as opposed to late, are both set to end in the current series. Television to me will once again only become the occasional programme and EastEnders

Spooks will also go down in my own books as my favourite TV series of all time followed by Hustle.

We are going to miss it, but I would like to take a moment to say "thanks" to all of the Spooks greats for making it so epic; Peter Firth, Nicola Walker, Richard Armitage, Rupert Penry Jones, Hermione Norris, Miranda Raison, Matthew Macfadyen, Robert Glenister, Tim McInnerny and Raza Jaffrey).

I watched Muse live at T In The Park (on TV) and I have to say they are as good as they are on the CDs when they are live! What a performance it was!

This is where I will be posting personal responses to some questions that are left. If you have a computer question, feel free to contact me at jamie@jamiebalfour.co.uk and I will check my email inbox and try to answer these questions either on YouTube or via this blog in the Computer questions section. I am also no longer posting on my Blogger account through Google Blogger, so its a bit of a sad transition. You can find my old Blogger posts (which will appear here one day!) here.

This blog system is provided by one.com, my web host and it offers many nice integration features as well as HTML (which I do not know but I will learn soon).
