Last month, I had toyed with the idea of donating some of my savings to Cancer Research or MacMillan - both of whom helped me back in the day. I had this post sitting there unpublished for 3 weeks before going for it - I needed to put this here to remember it.
Well, this post is straightforward, I've sold £32k of my shares and donated a nice £10k to Cancer Research and MacMillan (I put in something like £3k a few years back and it's paid off, so I'm really only £3k down!). It makes me feel good, especially after depression hit me again quite hard last year with COVID, but more than anything, it's going to help the world.
