For the years that AI has been gain traction, one of the areas that AI has been said to be slowly replacing is in the workplace.
Whilst it is mostly manual jobs, a lot of skilled jobs will also be replaced by AI.

According to our estimates, about 47 percent of total US employment is at risk.

Artificial intelligence and language

One of the areas of every day life that is most at risk is that of language translation.
Languages can be translated by AI in real time.

But why are jobs in language affected most?

Languages are actually really simple for AIs to work with since they are simple conversations.
AI can already understand human language and learning additional language isn't difficult.
The UN is looking to implement AI-based interpreters.

AI in schools

In school AI can be a valuable resource.
But will AI ever replace a human teacher in the future?
