Testimonies

– Matthew

(former FA pupil 2023-24)

I like that the course is more practical with some theory that lets you focus on skills rather than preparing you for an exam.

Testimonies

– Ruaridh

(former FA pupil 2023-24)

my favourite thing is there's no pressure to pass the exam, allowing us to get a deeper understanding of the course

Testimonies

– Cameron

(former FA pupil 2023-24)

I thought the course was very interesting and I really liked the assignments in the course as they were fun to work on compared with the National 5 ones.

Testimonies

– Lucas

(former FA pupil 2023-24)

it was a difficult course but made easier by the fact there's no exam but it's entirely coursework

Testimonies

– Emilis

(former FA pupil 2023-24)

the course feels more up to date than Higher Computing Science and you get to explore more of the field of computer science for example project and app development, and you explore things like web development in more detail

Testimonies

– Cammy

(former FA pupil 2024-25)

the course is so much more creative and far more useful than both National 5 and Higher Computing. The National 5 and Higher coursework is so basic and so much easier than this but the creativity is what makes it that bit better. I'd choose the FA over Higher any day.

Testimonies

– Terry

(former FA pupil 2024-25)

there's really no point in Higher existing when this course is available. It does everything Higher does and more. It also does everything better. Why do they even offer both?!

Testimonies

– Fraser
